Angel Home - Canvas Print

When I was young, my mother told me the story of sitting with her father in the hospital shortly before he died. He said "I hope an angel comes and slaps me on the cheek and takes me home." She told me this story again a couple of days before she died only this time the angel was coming for her. I wondered what that Angel looks like and I sketched this out a couple of days after she died. It is meant to be both a little scary and beautiful.
