Butterfly

The butterfly trembles—its wings a living prayer unfolding. As it hovers, the air thickens with light, and the gold along its edges begins to glow. The patterns on its wings ripple outward, dissolving the body into pure geometry. Black lines curl and spiral, weaving into circles within circles, until the creature is no longer a being but a bloom of symmetry—an eternal mandala born from motion. The garden fades; only radiance remains, pulsing softly like breath. What once was fleeting now turns infinite, the soul of the butterfly reimagined as pattern, still fluttering in another form.

The butterfly becomes the mandala as the mandala becomes the flower. This lenticular print reminds us of the sacred geometry in all things. As well, it reinforces the idea that when we change our perspective, we see something new. And when we change our thoughts, we can change our lives. The Butterfly photo is by Rita J Maggart. The mandala, made from that photo, is by Dave Turner as is the 3D conversion and lenticular effect.

You see the flower in 3D and as you move the mandala comes into view. The transition between the two images is much smoother than what you see in the preview.

The 5" x 5" and 12" x 12" prints are mounted on black acrylic, appear frameless and float 1" off the wall.

The 20" x 20" print is unmounted and unframed.
